Hello, everyone! How have you all been? 🥰 I hope you are well, and enjoying the winter weather, whatever that looks like for you--for me it means waiting in excitement for another three inches of snow tonight. 👀😆

I’ve got another review here for you! One many of you may have heard of judging by the communities we all run in, but that you may not have read yet! 😉☺️

✨Emberling by Kaytlin Phillips✨

4.5 ✨!

❤️‍🔥✨🐴⚔️🐉

Blurb: One never realizes how large their world is until they struggle to protect it.

Her entire life, Iya has been pursued by the Rangers, who despise her people for the fire in their veins. She has lost everything to their hatred, and now the fate of Uriu hangs in the treacherous balance. The Emberlings are dwindling in numbers, causing unleashed chaos that threatens not only Englewood but the Meadows of Harvanth as well.

Malcolm Cabe is fueled by hatred as he sets out to annihilate the fire-wielding Emberlings responsible for his father’s death. However, his mission takes an unexpected turn when he saves Iyana, a secretive girl haunted by a heartrending past.

Iya must keep her identity hidden from Malcolm and the other Rangers because if they discover who she is…death awaits her. But if the truth is never told how can they find the strength to forgive and unite? Decisions need to be made, and the wrong ones could lead to the destruction of all of Uriu.

I loved this one! ❤️‍🔥 Such a well written, heart-felt story, tackling--without preaching too hard 😉--tough, universal topics such as prejudice and forgiveness--even forgiveness of self. And the romance was so cute, I devoured that. 😌🥰

I loved Ben, Malcolm and Iya! Ben was so sweet the whole time, and Malcolm had such a good heart, even when he was confused and in the wrong. 👀🤭And Iya was so sweet too! ☺️ This one will definitely be reread, and I can't wait for the rest!!! 🤗

CWs: Battle induced injuries and descriptions of blood and wounds, but not gory. Respectful, minimal kissing between one couple.

And thanks so much to the author for the ARC! 🥰 All opinions here are my own. 😉

So tell me, if you have read this one--what did you think? 🤗 And for those of you who maybe haven’t, what have you been reading lately? I always love hearing about it! 😉🥰

That’s all for now!  Merry Christmas, everyone! 💚🥰✨

P. S. Oh! Just letting you all know ahead of time, there won’t be another post here for about a month, what with the holidays, family visiting, and general business. 😉 So, everyone have a wonderful holiday season, and see you in the new year…👀🥳🥳🥳

I haven't read this yet, but it sounds like a great story! Are there any other books by Kaytlin Phillips that you've liked? I'm looking for new reads around Christmas :)

I haven't been reading a whole bunch in the business of the holidays, but one book that has captured quite a bit of my time has been Elantris by Brandon Sanderson. It's a high fantasy/mystery/romance, and it's been an amazing book! Ten points to an absolute masterpiece!

Sorry I'm getting to this so late! 😂 Ooh, I actually haven't read any of her other works, though I own the kindle editions of a couple. 🤔 She will have a story in the anthology I was accepted to though, and as I helped beta read hers, I can tell you--it's so good! 😍

Ooh, I'll definitely look into that one! It sounds awesome. ☺️ I always love a good fantasy. 😉 Thanks for reading, Autumn!!! 🥰
