Hello again! 💜 How have you been? Today I thought I’d share another review with you, so let’s get straight to that! ☺️
Honey Butter, by Millie Florence.

A sweet, fun, middle grade story, with bright themes and relatable sibling relationships—mainly sisters. 😉 A super fun, summer read for around ages 8-12, but it can absolutely be enjoyed by older and younger ages. 💜 And the author was literally thirteen!!! 😮💜 So cool to read. 😌
Favorite charries:
Jamie, 🌈 of course ☺️
Cara 📚
Griffin 😊
Brian 🏀
There was pretty much only one thing I didn’t like about this book, which was how it was mentioned that Laren and her family hadn’t been to church in over a year because they’d been on the road so long, and were doing services together in their home, which is obviously not gathering as believers, as we are commanded…but Millie was literally thirteen when this one was published, so we’ll give her theological leeway on this point. 😉
Content warnings: mentions of a car accident, the word “hate” is thrown around a little too carelessly.
An all around great read! Absolutely perfect for summer. ☺️ Oh! And if you’re interested, you can access this book for free by signing up for Millie’s newsletter! Here’s a link for that 😉: https://www.subscribepage.com/millieflorence
Have any of you read this one? 🙃 What are your favorite summer reads? I’d love recommendations!!! 💕

I love that! It will definitely by a TBR for me! -Autumn
Some people are so gifted when it comes to writing! I could not imagine writing anything besides required essays for school at age 13. Reminds me of someone else I know. 😉 I might have to check this book out as a future purchase. A favorite summer read of mine was Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech. I should get past childhood/adolescent literature, but when it comes to fiction reads, I just enjoy them so much. I guess I'm still making up for lost time. I can't wait to read more of your reviews! - Aunt Debbie
Cute! The title is adorable 🤭
Wow, it's crazy the author is only thirteen! Well done on this book review, Sara!
